Welcome to The Zelda Project

The Zelda Project is a Los Angeles, CA based group of fans who seek to bring to life the characters, settings, and overall feel of Ocarina of Time through photography and film.

A labor of love, this project combines all aspects of art from costuming & photography to CGI visual effects.  Our end goal is that we hope those of you who view our work are brought a little bit more into the world of Hyrule through our art.

Re-Sculpting of Ears (Link)

Hi everyone! I haven't updated the site in a while but that's alright. Hopefully most of you are keeping up to date with our more frequent activity on Facebook and Twitter! We've been working slowly from coast to coast on some of the costumes that we had tried to shoot last year and things simply happened that held us back. The ears that we had made for Link originally worked out fine for the photoshoot that we did for the Lost Woods, but we wanted them to be at a different angle, so we are re-sculpting the ears and casting them again. Hopefully this time around we will get some pictures of the casting process so that we can update the how-to page so those of you can try out our methods for your own costume adventures! In the mean time, here is a fun WIP of the ears that our new prosthetics sculptor Pior Oberson is making. www.PiorOberson.com Have a look and check out the sculpts! At the point that we are at, we have decided to scrap the shoot that we did of the Fire Temple in 2011 and re-shoot it with all new photos with these new ears. More ears (Malon and Zelda) to come soon.
