Welcome to The Zelda Project
The Zelda Project is a Los Angeles, CA based group of fans who seek to bring to life the characters, settings, and overall feel of Ocarina of Time through photography and film.
A labor of love, this project combines all aspects of art from costuming & photography to CGI visual effects. Our end goal is that we hope those of you who view our work are brought a little bit more into the world of Hyrule through our art.

It's been a long time since I've updated the site. I apologize for that. Everyone has a personal life, and in the last few months, the foundations of mine got rocked out from under me. I'm in a period of transition in my life, but that does not mean that I have abandoned this project. There were a lot of rumors floating around the internet due to some impulsive things I said on my private facebook, but let me assure you... none of the negative is true. The positive thing, that we are working on the teaser trailer, is very true. At the moment, I am working with several artists to prepare a presentation to a large sponsor who may be the key to funding the teaser trailer. The way I see it in my mind, is very similar to the words Eiji Aonuma used in his recent interview with Nintendo Power. "Sweeping and Grand" Couldn't better describe what I had in mind. But in order to create that sort of look, money is needed. Thus, my hunt for a sponsor. Thankfully, I've found one such sponsor that may be the answer to all of our needs.
Currently, a team of 3 artists are working with me to prepare visuals from the Advent of Darkness trailer script for our presentation to this sponsor. I cannot mention the name, but I can assure you that if all goes well, we will be quite on our way. Please lend us your enthusiasm and support once again! We've appreciated all that we've had, and we have not forgotten the still photography. All good things come to those who wait, and to those who work hard. I have been plugging away steadily at this for over a year, and dreamed it for many years before starting it. Obstacles have constantly been thrown in my way, but I've hurdled over them, and now I feel it is time for the final hurdle.
If you had more time and an unlimited budget, what else would you do to try to celebrate Zelda’s 25th anniversary?
If what we’re really talking about is a sort of a “sky is the limit” approach to things, I always thought it would be really cool to have a real Zelda movie, something really grand and sweeping. But, of course, I have neither the time nor the wherewithal for all that, and even if I did have the money to make such a movie, I don’t know if it would turn out well. But there are those days when I fantasize about how cool it would be if something like that would happen sometime in the future.
Perhaps it won't be a fantasy forever!
